Who We Are, What We Do
At Forty Two Counselling, I believe in the transformative power of therapeutic support.
I’m a qualified and experienced counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s going on at your own pace.
My practice is grounded in a person-centred approach, where your unique story and lived experience are at the heart of our work together. I also integrate tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and trauma-focused approaches to support healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
I work with people navigating a wide range of challenges, including:
– Life transitions such as bereavement, redundancy, relocation, or relationship changes
– Childhood trauma and neglect
– Mental, physical, or sexual abuse – past or present
– Workplace stress, bullying, and conflict
– Anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and feeling lost or disconnected
